How do you evaluate web sites?
There are 5 basic criteria:
1. Content/Relevance
2. Currency
2. Authority/Credibility/Accuracy
3. Bias/Purpose/Objectivity
4. Usability/Design/Navigation
Questions to pose about a web site
Is the information useful to my search?
Has the information been updated recently?
Who is the author? What are his or her credentials?
Is there an e-mail contact?
When was this information created?
Did the author use credible sources?
Can the data be verified?
