The Professional Library is a resource for the educational and research needs of the staff of the Houston Independent School District and the community at large. The library contains a wide variety of materials to support the needs of our users. Computers are available for patrons who visit the Professional Library. The collection can be searched from the online catalog 24/7 from the online catalog link listed below.
Wilson Web is an online database of journal and periodicals in the field of education. From work, a user can log in and access these resources but from home a password is required. For the home access password to Wilson Web, contact one of our staff members. The library is staffed by Louise Johnson and Joyce Griffin.
District Archives are housed in the Virtual Professional Library. There are materials available in hard copy and online. Follow the link below to access the archives presently online.
