School librarians will promote HISD Millionaire Club Summer Reading program and campus incentives

Invite representatives from local Houston Public Library Branch (HPL) and Barnes & Noble store to co-promote their summer reading programs

Packets will be distributed to students to take home that includes information from all three programs

Applications for the HPL Power Cards will be included in the packet

Class Contests for HISD Millionaire Club Summer Reading Program

	Recorded on a bulletin board poster
	Each class where 80% of the students return a signed HISD Summer Reading List win a free dress day

Incentive for HPL Summer Reading Program

Students who show an HPL card in their name and a copy of their HPL summer reading list receive a treat from Emerson Elementary (i.e., bentcil, poster, bookmark, etc.)
